Kaitlyn Ann Vincie

Kaitlyn Vincie was born December 10, 1987 and is an American journalist. She is a reporter for Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's interest in stock car racing started after she was granted an pit lane pass and , after graduating from Christopher Newport University, she was a reporter at Langley Speedway. Vincie gained attention when her self-made video blogs on NASCAR were published on the stock car racing website SceneDaily. Vincie was born on December 10, 1987 in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised in Bridgewater prior to moving with her family to Warrenton when Vincie was in high school. She is the youngest daughter of John and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's maternal grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her grandfather, who was part of Bridgewater's faculty. She was interested in journalism from a young age. Vincie was a graduate of Fauquier High School. She competed in track and field competitions, and also worked as a director for the school's wrestling team for four years. She was victorious in the 800m race at the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie met Al Pearce, a journalist who was a mentor and gave Vincie many details. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Vincie worked as an intern at the department's athletics department at the university. Vincie also held a similar position for the USAR Pro Cup Series, Charlotte Motor Speedway. Vincie penned a senior thesis on the subject of gender in auto racing that was specifically focused on Danica Patrick, a woman race car driver. She became interested in the sport after receiving an access pass to pit lane for the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her main influences are Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
