Abbie Cornish Biography

Abbie Cornish, an Australian performer and rapper is At the age 13 she started modeling, before getting at 15 she was offered her first acting gig. Following her modeling career, Cornish continued to appear in numerous films and television programs. Cornish is best known for her performances as the courtier Bess Throckmorton in the historical film 'Elizabeth The Golden Age', as the heroin addict who plays the lead in 'Candy,' Lindy in the sci-fi thriller 'Limitless' and Fanny Brawne in the biopic 'Bright Star'. On TV, she's known for her roles in 'Outriders' and in 'Marking Time'. As a singer and rapper, Cornish has been performing since 2000 under the stage name "MC Dusk'. Born in New South Wales and raised in a family of three brothers and one sister, she experienced an average childhood until her parents separated when she was 16. Even though their divorce was a difficult time for her, Abbie managed to get past the trauma by focusing on her new career. The Australian beauty enjoys playing the piano and guitar although she has a preference for acting over anything else. Cornish is a vegan who sticks to her beliefs who believes in the rights of animals. She also supports the animal rights movement from time to time. Abbie Cornish was born in Lochinvar, New South Wales on August 7, 1982. She is the second of five children of Barry and Shelley Cornish. She is the elder sister of Isabelle Corish who is also an actress. Coming to the romance life of the actress she was engaged to actor Ryan Phillippe who she dated between 2006 and 2010.
